Zong has announced that it has selected Symantec Netbackup Appliances and Software solution to enhance its customers’ data protection. Being one of the largest Telecom operator in Pakistan, Zong was looking for a robust, unified and scalable solution to deal with data expansion challenges and at the same time to achieve stringent RTO and RPOs.

This is a backup solution, not security.
Zong should invest into employees instead of these bulls**t kind of tactics. Did they ever realize how demotivated employees are? These bunch of stupids and redundant Chinese employees from China Mobile are simply hopeless cases.
They should invest to wider there coverage at least in big cities like karachi, or at least respond to customers complain in more positive way instead of just a automated message.

I agree!! this symantec solution is solely based on customer data protection, advance backup solutions business and I guess efficient data recovery solutions for wider range of customers.
I would like to add here that I assume Zong mobile subscribers will be transparent to this business venture yet their applications and business data will be protected more efficiently. Symantec NetBackup appliances and NetBackup softwares are more robust and non complex integration. NetBackup Appliances, the third generation backup appliance, delivers three core values; unites physical and virtual, tackles data growth, and eliminates complexity. Good luck Zong!!
