Warid has introduced this new service with which you can sponsor calls of a FnF when they are out of credit.
Warid has come up with this new industry first SponsorMe service, which provides you the liberty of making a call while a close one pays for it. All you need to do is ask yourSponsor, which shall be your Warid friend or family member, to add your number in his/her privilege list and then whenever you run out of credit, you can still call and keep your communication going.
That’s how easy it is, so you’ll never have to worry about running out of credit whenever in need because someone has it all covered for you!
To Activate & Subscribe:
- Dial *700# or SMS “SUB” to 7008.
SMS Commands for subscribers:
- To add Sponsor: SMS “REQ <sponsor mobile number>” to 7008.
- To trigger sponsor CALL: Dial 70 + destination mobile number
- Example: 700321XXXXXXX or 70042XXXXXXX
- To check subscription: SMS “STATUS” to 7008.
- To verify Sponsorship: SMS “CHECK SPONSOR” to 7008.
- For Help:SMS “HELP” to 7008
SMS Commands for Sponsors
- To add Sponsored number: SMS “SPONSOR <sponsored mobile number>” to 7008
- To remove Sponsor: SMS “STOP <sponsored mobile number>” to 7008
- To LIST Sponsored numbers: SMS “LIST” to 7008
- To block Sponsorship requests: SMS “DND ON” to 7008.
- To unblock Sponsorship requests: SMS “DND OFF” to 7008
Charges:
- Subscription charges PKR 0.50+t/day
- P2P call charges PKR 1.20+tax/min
- SMS to 7008 will be free of charge
Terms & Conditions:
- This service is for Warid Prepaid customers only for P2P calls
- The Sponsor can add up to a maximum of 03 numbers to his/her privilege list.
- Upon sponsoring, the Sponsor will have two options to either;
- Sponsor all Calls
- Consent based sponsorship per Call
- Every call via SponsorMe platform will be charged @ 1.20+tax/min
- To unsubscribe, SMS ‘UNSUB’ to 7008
This is not industry first service. Other telcos have also launched similar services with minor differences in service mechanics only.
This “sasti harkat” doesn’t suit Warid! Just saying :P
