Huawei to Launch Mate S in Pakistan for 65K Early Next Month

Having recently launched globally, Mate S is all set to enter the local market of Pakistan. Adding to the list of Mate S features, its ability to adapt to everyday environment is an absolute unique quality of this smart phone.

unnamedHuawei Mate S takes regular recording functions to the next level with the help of its creatively implanted three microphones that support Huawei’s smart direction algorithm. The Huawei Mate S’ beam-forming algorithm allows all three microphones to focus on the sounds coming from where the phone is facing, enabling a clear recording with minimal background noises.

For consumers on the go, the Huawei Mate S also supports Mopria printing general protocol, which includes 700 printer types across 29 leading brands.

Pricing and Availability:

The Huawei Mate S is expected to be available for around Rs. 65,000 from early October in local markets. If you want more details about the phone, you can check out our detailed coverage here.

  • will huawei die if they offer flagship for reduced prices? At least for a couple of early birds?

    • they are just taking advantage of Pakistani market. They did introduced their 4c but at much higher price in Pakistan. Meanwhile they didn’t bothered to introduce honor 4x here.

    • LOL just one reason? :D

1: S6 has a ridiculous RAM Management issue, seriously 3GB RAM is a joke. (google it)

2: Very Very Low Battery for a flagship smartphone.

3: Non-Expandable Storage. (Try to record 4K videos and you are F**ked, unless you sold your kidney and got a 128GB model)

4: People said we love finger print sensor but Samsung got it wrong and put a very effective finger print magnet on the back of S6 :P

      want more reasons??

Go ahead, waste your money on S6 and you’ll have all the reasons you were asking for :D

      • RAM Management issues, yes sir early reviews do show that when you open many apps together, it will only keep 3-4 apps open and start closing the rest of them.. Same issues wit Note 5’s 4 GB of RAM! It’s a software issue and they will patch it up soon enough.. But honestly, I don’t really care if all my 10 apps aren’t open at the same time. My N5 can hardly bear 2-3 and it never bugged me, I can deal with 2-3 second tab reload time on Chrome. So yea, even if it’s not fixed, it’s not a deal breaker at least for me and I’m sure no one would have noticed it if those reviewers didn’t make it such a big issue. I mean, check your current phone and see how many apps that can hold up. Anyways, that’s enough for that.

Very very low battery? Mate S has 2700mA and S6 has 2550.. Not sure what you’re talking about there? And you do know that companies are actually decreasing the battery capacity in phones because of better battery management by latest chipsets. iPhone 6s has smaller battery than 6.. and don’t forget the fast charge.

Storage? It has never really been my problem, always have 15-20gigs free on my 32gig N5.. and i don’t see any reason why anyone would want to store 4K videos on their phone! I mean cmon, it’s not a portable hard drive, you make the video if you wish then copy it over elsewhere! You do get storage up to 128gig in S6 though.. Again, not a deal breaker for me.

“People said we love finger print sensor but Samsung got it wrong and put a very effective finger print magnet on the back of S6” I don’t get what you’re implying there.. if they put a very effective print magnet on the back of S6 then what’s the matter?

Lastly, yes please give me more reasons cause the ones you gave just aren’t cutting it and nah, im not gonna buy S6.. Even that is too expensive for me, just waiting for 2015 Nexus devices, im kinda Nexus fanboy, and this is probably the first time i’m defending Samsung, lol. Cheers.

        • Oh Boy !
Your comment is even bigger than the whole article on this page :D
Take it easy yaar it ain’t a debate. :D Well I tried to read the first paragraph and not surprised to see that you don’t do multitasking on your smartphone if there is any :P
I saw people crying over the money they wasted on S6 as to be honest bro it sucks. Now I don’t know why you are defending it but Good for you.

          • Haha yes, got plenty of free time on a Sunday afternoon (:
Well yea, Samsung is bad and they are ripping off people but I see Huwaei trying to follow their footsteps which is quite annoying, I mean here is this brand from China which was selling Low to Mid range phones in Pakistan and now they want you to buy a 65k phone!! Just doesn’t sound right. Anyways, next Nexus phone is built by Huwaei so yea, that might change my views about them (:
Sorry if I sounded rude or anything, no offense intended.. I probably hate Samsung more than you but here it’s between something I hate and something I hate more :P

  • Its price is the biggest drawback while they know they are competing with iphone 6 and Samsung S6. Why would anybody buy Huawei and not S6/i6?

  • Sony is the best! Great camera, excellent build quality, long battery life, and timely updates to OS.
