Daraz.pk Set to Launch Infinix Zero 3 in Pakistan Soon

Daraz.pk, the official partner of Chinese mobile maker Infinix, is set to launch its next flagship Infinix Zero 3 in Pakistan soon by partnering with Zong. Zong users will also get 6GB of free data for 6 months.

The Infinix Zero 3 (X552) is the 3rd iteration of the company’s low price flagship line and it comes with huge improvements over the last year’s Infinix Zero 2. The phone has brought in improvements in its body design, internal hardware and camera. It now comes with 4G LTE support which was previously missing in Zero 2.

Design and Display

At first glance, the Zero 3 looks like a phone that takes its design inspiration from Sony’s famous Xperia series. The Zero 3 has a similar design but without the full metal body. It comes equipped with a plastic crystal textured body with different colors for you to choose from.

The phone has a 5.5 inch IPS Full HD 1080P display with a wide viewing and a pixel density of 400ppi which is protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

Camera and Video

The Zero 3 is equipped with a decent camera featuring the 20.7 MP CMOS sensor made by Sony. The camera is capable of capturing decent photos. Spatially to improve low light photo colors, it has a dual color LED flash light. The 5MP camera with front LED flash light plus face beautification filters enhance your selfie experience.

Zero 3’s camera is capable of capturing video at 4K resolution as well, but you  can’t shoot more than few minutes because of the shortage of internal storage which is only 16GB, unless you have a top quality high speed external memory card. Interestingly the camera can capture extremely slow motion videos at 480P resolution.

Internal Hardware

Zero 3 has solid internal hardware specifications for its price. The phone features the Mediatek  Helio 10X chipset. Its 64-bit octacore processor features a clock speed of 2.1 GHz. In order to ensure smooth gaming experience, the phone has IMG 6200 GPU with a 700MH clock and it comes with 3GB Ram for smooth and fluent multitasking. For the multimedia storage, the Zero 3 comes with only 16GB only, which we wish was higher.

To power the phone, the Zero 3 has an ultra slim battery of 3030 mAh capacity. Though it does not sound enough, the Zero 3 can operate in 4 distinct power modes for maximum throughput i.e. High performance, Normal performance, Power Saving and Ultra Power Saving modes so you can select any of them according to your needs.

Operating System

The Zero 3  ships with 2 years old Android Lollipop 5.1, with Infinix’s bloatware XUI skin, which is a drawback. Due to the company’s limited portfolio, you are not likely to have an update to the latest Android Marshmallow 6.0 or later for this model.

Price Range

As by now there are no details available about the price of the Zero 3, but as its introducing price in Nigeria was about ₦53000 which is roughly about PKR 25,000. Expect a price tag of about Rs. 22,000 to 24,000 here.

Main Rivals

Although, the phone has good specifications in this price range, it will face tough competition in Pakistani market. Its main rival is the Qmobile Z10 which has similar specifications and price tag of Rs. 20,000 and its also in the market for quite some time now.

Infinix is now quite famous in Pakistan and its main specialty is high quality mobile phones at competitive prices. In order to keep prices as low as possible its phones are available online only on Daraz.pk.

  • its a killer phone on paper !
would be good if it had a finger print scanner and a price range of BELOW 20k.
but i guess weak currency has its demerits.
