Mobile phone users in Pakistan have once again crossed 131 million mark, said recently issued stats by Pakistan Telecommunication Authority.
According to PTA, mobile phone users in Pakistan reached 131.41 million at the end of March 2016. Not to mention, all these subscriptions are bio-metrically verified.
Five mobile phone companies added a total of 1.56 million new customers during the month with Telenor topping the race and added 768,218 new customers in March 2016.
Mobilink added 636,090 new customers during reported month while Ufone added 232,710 new subscriptions during the period.
Warid managed to grab 113,526 new customers but Zong lost 189,555 customers during the month due to data correction.
Mobilink lead the market with 38,12 million customers while Telenor stood at 36.78 million customers at the end of March 2016.
