National Bank of Pakistan is all set to inaugurate World’s Highest Automated Teller Machine (ATM) this week.
According to details, National Bank of Pakistan has setup its ATM at Pakistan-China border in Khunjerab that the bank is planning to take live this week.
Official information said that National Bank’s this ATM is setup at 4,693 meters or 15,397 feet above sea level, making it world’s highest ATM installed anywhere in the world.
National Bank is hoping that the ATM will serve the growing needs of tourists that go to north most corner of the country.
Pakistan, this year, witnessed record tourists visiting northern areas, including the Khunjerab pass: at the border of Pakistan and China.
NBP has resolved to keep the ATM active and live with dedicated staff to ensure that cash and connection at ATM are available round the clock, 365 days a year.
Looking at National bank ATMs condition in Karachi city, yahan card stuck hogaya tu nikalnay bhi koi nahi ayega ek haftay tak :P

365 days a year main 360 days tou cash hi nahi hoga is main. Baki din depends on luck.
They don’t have atms even in district hq branches, biyaanbaan main laga do, jahan zaroorat hai wo bhaaar main jayen.

Mere friend ky 15000 rupees ATM ma block ho gaye thy, us ko refund karwany ma 15 days lagy. Itni height py ja ky message mily “sorry ATM service is temperory unavailable” hat jaye gi bandy ki.:-)
