Pakistan International Airline has canceled more flights to and from Gilgit and Skardu as Civil Aviation Authorities are yet to lift restrictions for northern air space.
PIA said that passengers are being told about the cancellation of flights and that they are being compensated reasonably.
Due 2 northern areas air space restriction, PIA's all 27 Sep flights for Gilgit & Skardu have been cancelled. PIA Call Center informing pax.

PIA is informing the passengers through SMS and calls on numbers they had provided at the time of booking.
PIA flights to Skardu, Gilgit and Chitral are effected since September 21st, 2016 as the airspace has been restricted by CAA in the area.
It maybe recalled that northern airspace is reportedly restricted due to PAF’s ongoing exercise in the area.
Other than PIA, several more international flights (flying from middle east to china, far east) are also re-routed until airspace restrictions are in place.
