Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has been lately on a drive to rebrand and improve itself and its services. The national airline is hoping to recapture its lost glory by inducting new planes in its fleet, adding more routes and destinations for passengers as well as rolling out a Premiere Service for those who take the air travel seriously.
As part of its rebuilding efforts, the national carrier has announced its intention to revamp its existing fleet, especially the Boeing 777 planes. In this respect, PIA has issued a tender calling for procurement of new seats for its old jets.
The airline has called on interested parties to bid for the project, with a deadline of Oct 31st 2016 for submitting their tenders.
Bidders can drop in their proposals at the Tender Box located at the Procurement and Logistics building. This building its located at PIA’s head office in Karachi.
Bidders can submit them under a sealed envelope. The sealed tenders should be dropped in by 10:30 PST, Oct 31st since the airline will be going through them by 11:00 PST on the same day. Bidders are invited to be there when the tenders are being opened and evaluated, in the interest of maintaining transparency and accountability during the selecting the winning bidder.
