Mobile phone services are facing suspension in various parts of the country.
Unconfirmed reports suggest that mobile phone services are not available in parts of Karachi, Lahore city and Peshawar.
PTA, however, isn’t confirming the suspension.
It’s being said that cellular services were closed due to increased security for Chehlum processions.
It must be noted that Islamabad High Court just past week asked Government of Pakistan to clarify how it decides to suspend mobile phone services in Pakistan.
PTA had maintained that it doesn’t suspend services itself, but just implements the orders issued by Interior Ministry, NACTA or other law enforcement agencies.
Sources said that services will remain suspended till the end of Chehlum processions at around 8PM in the evening.
Hence proved k Pakistan ko khatmalistan banaya jaa raha hay slow slow
