    • What lesson are we supposed to learn??? 750 people dead in 51 years of PIA. Do the math, how many flights did PIA have in 51 years and how many resulted in crashes? Seems to me like an impressive record.

      • Are you kidding dude..???? Are those 750 people are just peanuts for you. Can you imagine any ONE of your family member being a victim of this figure. Will you be withholding the same statement then..???

        • Let us assume that for 51 years, PIA only flies average of 1,000 passengers every day in all its flights worldwide. So that is 1000 * 51 * 365 = 18,615,000 passengers. So if 750 people died, that is 0.004% of the total passengers dying.

Regardless of how close those 750 people were to me or you or their families, the total failure rate is 0.004%. TINY NUMBER. I am sure if you compare it with performance of Pakistan Roads, you will find more people dying in car accidents EVERY YEAR in just Sindh than total people killed in PIA mishaps in 51 years.

So I ask again, WHAT ARE WE SUPPOSED TO LEARN? That you do not understand statistics???

  • “February 4, 1986
Incident: Crew forgot to lower landing gear before landing”

Pretty much sums up PIA’s whole history and its standards. Never flying by a local airline again, thank you.

  • on average, 750 log roz roads pr martay ho gy aur 750*xx zakhmi hotay ho gy. Airline accidents very low survival rate ke waja sy zayada khofnaak lagtay hain

  • I am shocked from this freaking accident but i must say PIA record is Fantastic by comparing International aircraft incidents and death ratios, and this impressive records is far better than other local airlines, ProPakistani, u should also provide detail information about other local airlines. I must appreciate PIA,
Jin dangerous root per other airlines janay sai gabhratee hain like Chitral, Gilgit , Skardo, wahan sirf PIA jatee hai, aur unfortunately inhi roots major accidents rahai hain, aur still PIA nai apni services continue rakhee hain…. Hats off to PIA

  • Hello everyone, I might be found this plane’s wreckage on google maps
application. I prepared a video over this incident and showed the planes
wreckage on video. Check out my channel and watch my video. Please
inform someone from local officals to find this wreckage.
