This Tool Will Help You Delete All Your Unused Online Accounts

Listening to music, watching videos, ordering something online, almost everything on the internet today requires an account. And before you know it, you have got dozens of random accounts online everywhere.

Fortunately, there is a way to delete at least some of those random accounts. If you have signed up for most services using your Gmail account, you can use a simple tool called “Deseat.me” to get rid of most of the accounts almost instantly.

Deseat.me basically scans your emails and will check for the accounts you have signed up. Once found, it will provide you with a few simple steps to delete each of those accounts. It will also provide you with a quick way to get rid of those.

Using Deseat.me to delete accounts

  1. Head over to DeSeat.me.
  2. Sign-in with your Google account.
  3. Let it search through your email.
  4. Sort through the list it provides you with and add the accounts you don’t use anymore to the “delete queue”.

Note: Deseat.me uses Google OAuth to sign into Gmail and runs on your computer. No private data from your emails is sent to the cloud, according to the developers.

The tool will automatically provide a quick “delete” button to go straight to a page where you can remove your account for most popular services.

Its pretty convenient if you find yourself having to register for many sites and services, only to use them once and forget that they ever existed.
