Starting December 22nd (tomorrow) Xbox Store’s biggest sale of the year is going live. The sale is called “Countdown” and will feature daily and weekly deals. It will continue until January 9th so you have plenty of time to avail any discounts.

The deals on this sale will include hundreds of video game titles for both Xbox One and Xbox 360. In addition to games, the sale will feature movies, TV shows, music and apps as well.
Many of this year’s popular games like Final Fantasy XV, Battlefield 1 and Watchdogs 2 will also be discounted. There are more than 40 backward compatible games (Xbox 360 games that are playable on the Xbox One) available on sale as well. You can avail discounts of up to 60% on games.
Xbox Live Gold
Another important thing to note is that during the sale from December 22nd to January 9th, Xbox users can upgrade to Xbox Live Gold membership for a month for only $1.
A perk of having gold membership is that you can get an additional 10% off on all of the Xbox Store deals. Xbox Live members can also get 10% back on their purchases with MyVIP, a program that rewards good game players for meeting specific goals. Every dollar spent in the Xbox Live Store until December 31st will boost your Star Rank for the next year.
How Can Pakistanis Get In On the Countdown Sales?
For now, Pakistani online stores have not offered any discounts on Xbox games or Xbox Live Gold membership.
