Samsung may have went through a lot with its Note 7 release over the past year, but it has re-iterated the faith it has in its ability to bounce back.
It is unsurprising then that the company will keep launching phones in its second flagship series going into the future, as well. After all, one bad launch likely won’t be able to demolish all the goodwill and publicity the series has already generated over the past few years.
In an interview given to CNET, Samsung Mobile Chief D.J. Koh said that the company will be releasing the Note 8 next year, as if nothing happened. Koh elaborated on the subject, saying,
I will bring back a better, safer and very innovative Note 8. We found through the investigative process, we knew there are lots and lots of loyal Note customers.
We all know the Note 7 exploding fiasco and the subsequent recall after that. Samsung finally revealed the cause behind the exploding phones and how the another cause surfaced after the phones were recalled.
As a part of the revival process, the company will be implementing an eight-step process to ameliorate the battery woes that plagued the Note 7 during its two releases.
Despite the assurance, it will likely take some time for the phone to maintain a similar engagement level as the series’ previous releases. The Note 7, which was plagued by not one but two errors in the manufacturing process, made Samsung a laughing stock for the better part of the year.

Mr. C.J. koh Samsung Chief the directions given at CES2017 of AI based Vivo will be a different experience with the early iterations of the Note 7. We expect with the loyal customers you may announce the newer AI based products and the Note 8.
Would be a great deceision to stay with one name as Note, releasing a new model everyday made everyone confused.
