Pakistani automotive market is about to see yet another product launch very soon. Honda Atlas is planning to start booking orders for its BR-V in the coming weeks.
The news was confirmed thanks to an ad banner and a video advertisement.
Honda’s announcement to launch the new BR-V so suddenly is obviously a step to counter Pak-Suzuki’s introduction of Vitara and Ciaz within a couple of months. Competition is rising in the market as even the three Japanese carmakers are putting in all effort to strengthen their market share.
To top it off, Suzuki is claiming to have received very positive response from Pakistani customers. Honda wants to have piece of the pie as well, and BR-V is going to be its new weapon against its competitors.
Honda BR-V is said to come with the following feature by default:
- 1.5L Engine
- 6 Speed CVT-i transmission
- 7 Seats
- Keyless Entry
- Roof railings
- Alloy Rims
These are only some of the expected features and more details will go public when the car launches.
Honda BR-V is expected to launch with a price tag Rs. 2.2 million to Rs. 2.5 million. If Honda does manage to launch his vehicle in this price range, middle-class of cars could be in for a massive shake. The company launched its latest Civic model not so long ago, although its steep price tag of Rs. 3 million. Let’s hope Honda prices this one right and Pakistani automotive fans finally start witnessing the fruits of the new Auto Policy.
With the rising number of car launches every month, the automotive scene is definitely moving in the right direction. New companies are also on the brink of launching cars in Pakistan. Volkswagen was the latest one to announce two new vehicles for the Pakistani market.

With Vitara priced @ 5 million… Honda wouldn’t go far below that bar..
Vitara is priced at 3.4 starting, no one would have paid 5 million for vitara and never
Sorry for not using my sarcastic quotation marks in the earlier statement..
Honda – The Power of Dreams !
Isn’t 1.5cc engine underpowered for a 7 seater
Vitara is priced at 3.8 million.. not 5.. & i think the above will be priced around 2.5 – 3.0 mill
3.4 starting, else 3.8 would have made HR-V @ 3.6 much better choice
گاڑی کا بیک وئیو اچھا نھیں
Renault Duster is the same category car with 1.5L engine & 7 seat capacity.
Dabba is 0.8 liter not 1 :P
It’s locally assembled so it should, rather it must, remain within 1.8M-2.2M fully loaded.
nice
