QMobile is back with another mid-range smartphone, the Noir J7 Pro. The phone has a nice looking built with a subpar screen and SoC.
Noir J7 Pro is available in dark blue and golden colors for Rs. 17,999.
Up front, you get a 5.5 inch HD IPS display with a 2.5 D curved glass front. The 2.5D glass is just a fancy way of saying that the glass slightly curves at the side forming a seem-less link between the screen and the sides of the phone. Noir J7 pro also features Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection as well which is a bit outdated considering that nowadays phones come with Gorilla Glass 5.
At the back is what QMobile calls an “Elegant 3D Back Arc Mirror Body”. It’s primarily plastic made to look like metal offering similar reflective appearance.
Noir J7 pro also features DTS Surround sound speakers.
The insides of the Noir J7 Pro are powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6737T processor. It comes with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB of internal storage, expandable via a microSD card slot up to 128 GB.
For the OS there’s the standard Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Amigo OS 4.0 on top which is getting a bit outdated at this point. It is a dual SIM phone by default and supports 4G.
For the primary shooter, the J7 Pro uses a 13 MP sensor with Phase Detection Autofocus with a 0.3s focus time and a LED flash. Video recording is limited to 1080p resolution.
At the front, there is an 8 MP shooter with a screen flash for selfies. It can record video in HD resolution as well.
Noir J7 Pro comes with a 3,150 mAh battery unit complete with USB OTG support and fast charging. A 5V2A fast charger is included in the box which can charge up the phone in 2.6 hours, according to QMobile.
