MCB Bank Launches its Second Digital Branch in Lahore

MCB Bank seems aggressive to promote digital banking within its network as it inaugurated its second State-of-the-Art Digital Lounge at Pakistan’s premiere Retail Complex, Emporium Mall, Lahore.

Last week, the bank has launched its first Digital Lounge at Packages Mall, Lahore.

Launch of digital branch for banking services is an emerging trend in the banking industry in Pakistan. Not only Standard Chartered Bank, but even United Bank Limited have launched their digital branches. Additionally the central bank is also working on regulations and mechanism for setting up Digital Banks in the country.

These branches and lounges offer innovative automated banking services to customers who can easily make their transactions through hi-tech machines without any support of bankers.

Among the many advanced digital facilities at MCB, the new Digital Lounge features a Video Contact Center, Interactive Digital Interfaces, Customer Information and Facilitation Services along with Automated Teller Machines (ATMs), Cash Deposit Machines (CDMs) and an Internet/Mobile Banking Kiosk.

Informative touch screens located at multiple contact points throughout the Sub-branch also serve to educate and inform customers about the bank’s innovative products and services. The Digital Lounge is a Sub-branch of a full scale banking branch at Emporium Mall. It serves customers 7 days a week and operates throughout the usual Mall timings.

The launch ceremony was attended by Mr. Mian Mohammad Mansha, Chairman MCB Bank, ‎Mrs. Naz Mansha, Director DG Khan Cement, Mr. Mian Hassan Mansha, Chairman Lalpir Power Ltd., Ms. Iqraa Mansha, CEO Nishat Hospitality (Pvt) Ltd., Mr. Imran Maqbool, President & CEO MCB Bank and other senior executives from MCB Bank and Emporium Mall.

MCB Bank, one of the largest private banks in the country, has over 6 million Customers, over 1,225 Branches and over 1,200 ATMs spread across in more than 435 cities nationwide.


  • Rather than this, kindly improve your staff’s knowledge. Even “Litized” Branch doesn’t know about MCB Lite Card and when we want to apply for Lite Card,The response is like….
    Branch guy : “-__-” Sir, why don’t you apply for it online or just call at MCB Helpline. in other words they are too busy in launch break at 1:30pm that even after waiting for straight 30 minutes they come wipe their mouth and say Why don’t you…….. WTH.. is this called a “Bank” Service.
    Even their website clearly says “You can call on our helpline or visit nearest MCB lite enabled Branch” But no online activation option.???
    Kindly update your staff if they have this attitude.
    Even my cousion got his lite card in 3 freaking months and they say maximum 5-7 days bull***t
