Pakistan Telecommunication Authority has received 10,237 complaints from telecom consumers against the different telecom operators (including cellular operators, PTCL, LDIs, WLL operators and ISPs) during April-June 2017.
According to data available with ProPakistani, PTCL leads the chart with 3,121 complaints received during the April-June period. Telenor stands at the second position as a telecom operator with 2,095 complaints lodged during the same period.
PTA said that it was able to get 96.04 percent of the complaints resolved.
In terms of the segregation of complaints by individual operators, a total of 2095 complaints were received against Telenor which is 30% of the total cellular mobile operator (CMO) related complaints.
Cellular mobile subscribers constitute a major part of the overall telecom subscriber base, therefore, the maximum number of complaints belong to this segment. Total number of complaints against CMOs during April-June 2017 stood at 7,002.
Mobilink, which has the largest number of consumers, was second with 1889 i.e. 27% of the complaints were received against it.
Zong stood third with 1432 complaints i.e. with 20% of the total complaints.
Ufone had 9969 complaints against its various services which make up 14% of the total CMO related complaints, followed by Warid with 617 i.e. 8.8% complaints.

I think this is a partial representation of the facts. If we evaluate the complaints in respect to their customer base that would be much better indicator of the problem.

I do agree with the facts presented in this article. Telenor is really on the top of spammers list who are not only very aggressive on their marketing campaigns but also having no check and balance on the issuance of their Network SIMs through which so much scam messages and calls are made anonymously for malicious purposes and despite having SIM numbers, law enforcement agencies could not find any clue to curb these culprits activities.
Please make correction on Ufone complain numbers :

Ufone is worst. They start a package with min price and then gradually increase the rates in the name of “service ki mayar ki behtri k liye’. Signal strength sab se gatya. Lol
