QMobile Noir J1 is the latest addition to the company’s budget-focused J series. Coming in at a price Rs. 9,650, the Noir J1 is one of the cheapest phones available in the market that also offers 4G connectivity.
The Noir J1 features a 5-inch, 480p display with an IPS panel – a norm in low end phone market. It should suffice for day to day usage given the LCD is of a good quality.
On the hardware side of things, the Noir J1 comes equipped with 1GB of RAM and a 1.1 GHz quad-core processor. Budget phones usually come with paltry amounts of RAM, however, a single gigabyte of RAM with Android Nougat is pushing it. The phone is for first time or entry level users due to the lack of emphasis on multitasking.
The internal storage is limited to just 8 GB which can be expanded by up to 64 GB via a microSD card.
As far as the camera department is concerned, the Noir J1 features a 5 MP primary camera with an LED flash and various software imaging functions such as face beauty, panorama and geo-tagging. The front camera also sports 5 MP unit.
Keeping everything powered is a 2,500 mAh battery that ensures your phone won’t die on you while you’re working. Coupled with a low power SoC and a 480p screen, the phone should last you through a day of light usage.
