PTCL and Nayatel are no strangers to being competitors.
PTCL has been operating since a long time in Pakistan and it provides multiple services such as Broadband internet, telephony etc. As for Nayatel, it is a relatively new entrant in Pakistan but it quickly captured a lot of market in Islamabad (where it was launched) mainly due to its unparalleled services, internet speeds, prices and also one of the first service providers to offer fiber to the home services.
Recently, both the companies engaged in a friendly yet funny social media exchange. It all started with the the recent Ayesha Gulali incident. A Twitter user named ThatAsadThough shared the following tweet which resulted in some epic comebacks from both Nayatel and PTCL.
That moment you realize Ayesha Gulali was just using @PTCLOfficial Internet which is why she noticed the messages after 4years though

PTCL immediately sprung to action and to defend their honor, replied to Asad with the following clever tweet.
No complaints filed by Ayesha though #WeChecked
— PTCL (@PTCLOfficial) August 2, 2017
Soon afterwards, a Twitter user hilariously quipped that the PTCL Twitter account must be using a Nayatel connection for such a quick reply.
Sensing an opportunity, Nayatel’s official Twitter account also joined in on the fun:
Nayatel: Delivering messages right away since 2006
— Nayatel (@nayatelpk) August 3, 2017
It was now time for PTCL to come up with a witty reply and boy did they not disappoint:
Aa Gaya te Chaa Gaya "Thaa" kar k#BeLikeNayatel
— Nayatel (@nayatelpk) August 3, 2017
It looked like the Twitter war could have went on forever but PTCL quickly ended the conversation with a clever and all time favorite “NahiHogaTujhseChase” joke, alluding to the Pakistani cricket team’s win over the Kohli-led Indian team in the Champions Trophy recently.
Bohat maza aa raha hai we are proud of you #BabySteps #NahiHoGaTujSeChase
— PTCL (@PTCLOfficial) August 3, 2017
It’s nice to see the healthy competition between these two companies. Better yet, these two companies have won over many social media fans with their ‘punny’ exchanges. Talk about a win-win situation.

Once upon a time, TV pa Jazz vs Ufone hota tha…..
still ptcl sucks :v
PTCL is shedding its old image and its highly commendable , who would’ve ever imagined the sharp quick humorous responses from them before. I found out they have a new digital agency that is behind this show down. Salute to you!
I think zong has better speed than both…;) lol
Wired and wireless. Different needs.
It is possible both users would be out of office using mobile data 4G….instead of office WiFi ;)
Finally something good and enjoyable on ProPakistani, after a long time.
