Boeing Has So Far Delivered 554 Aircraft in 2017

Boeing company has delivered 554 commercial aircraft of different types, military fix and rotary wing platforms during the first 9 months of 2017.

Boeing issued the data regarding aircraft deliveries across its commercial and defense operations for the three quarters of year 2017.

The data shows that Boeing 737 and 787 have the highest demand. During the year, Boeing was able to deliver 554 new aircraft, out of which 381 are new 737 and 100 new 787 aircraft. Other aircraft delivered are 8 Boeing 747, 7 Boeing 767 and 58 Boeing 777.

Boeing 737 and 787 are high in demand due to their fuel efficiency and high-value returns. Range flexibility enables carriers to profitably open new routes as well as optimize fleet and network performance.

On defense, space and security programs, Boeing was busy in re-manufacturing and renewal of military helicopters.

The data shows that during the first 9 months of 2017, Boeing delivered 51 AH-64 Apache helicopters, out of which 8 were new and 43 were re-manufactured. Similarly, Boeing delivered 34 CH-47 Chinook helicopters, out of which 6 were new and 28 were renewed.

On the fighter jet front, Boeing delivered 11 F-15 Models and 11 F/A-18 Models. Boeing also delivered P8 aircraft for Navy operations.

During this year, Boeing delivered 3 satellites for Commercial, Civil, and Military use as well.
