Only 18% of Pakistan’s population (35 million) has access to an internet connection and major chunk of web traffic, almost 73%, comes from mobile and tablet devices. Mobile devices (smartphones and tablets) have clearly been the main driving force behind the country’s recent surge in internet users, which has almost doubled from 2016.
Taking note of mobile’s influence over the Pakistani population, a lot of mobile-wallet options have popped up during the past few years. These services offer anything from online transactions to quick and easy transfers using NFC to online bill payments and much more.

This add companion your are running is so annoying . i am blocking your notifications until its over.
Exactly my thoughts too
So many solutions, but yet so little retailers out there that accept mobile payments. These companies now need to invest on marketing to the retailers.
Exactly!
We don’t need to go far, just take a look at our neighbor country. There you can even pay a common Rickshaw driver via your PayTM account.

Yes very true, in india we prefer mobile wallets like PayTM etc as you it is easier than taking out cash from wallet/pocket/purse. Just sacn QR code, or touch the paypanel for NFC PoS machines. And no hassles of “change nahi hai”, and most often shops and Mobile Wallet companies give cashback or discounts for paying with mobile Wallets. I buy milk petrol, meat, groceries, bills, Cabs like Uber, Ola etc even Autorickshaws all using mobile Wallet, replacing much of card usage. Cash usage has gone down sharply in India.
Hope Pakistan also increases mobile wallets due to it’s many advantages.
