Who made this library? The army or govt? I am thinking the former.
Garrison in name indicates probably army… May be mutual support…. But it is situated at a location where everyone can access easily
This is public library Punjab government made the library.
what was then the need to include garrison in its title
It was made by Army,
Government employs & Civilians have to pay original fee
Whereas Library is fully on concession for Army persons (or retired)
Not a reader’s dream but it is A LOT better than others.

Lot of efforts are required to bring people specially students to back to libraries which is almost faded now.
Pak Army Job well Done
We need more of them to cure our nations’ illness. Educational Institutions, Libraries and play grounds can lit up children and teenagers.
