Child Pornography Groups Exist in Pakistan: FIA

Dr Shahid Masood recently made huge allegations about the presence of organized child pornography groups in Pakistan. While he couldn’t really produce any hard evidence to support the claims, Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has admitted that there are groups present in the country that are involved in child pornography.

This huge news was confirmed by the head of FIA’s cyber crime wing Muhammad Shoaib himself. Shoaib told that there is strong evidence that suggests the presence of such groups.

The head of the cyber crime wing also told that international groups involved in this crime have their people working in Pakistan. According to him, “the complaints about all the cases registered in Pakistan were received from abroad.” he added;

The Pakistani members of these gangs come from middle and upper-middle class. The members of such groups are educated and acquainted with the English language.

FIA is also inquiring different individuals in the case and has sought bank account details of the arrested. FIA is investing three such cases in Punjab alone.
