The Karachi United team will visit the Catalan giants in the upcoming days. Karachi United will visit FC Barcelona during the next five days to train with the clubs’ coaches and youth teams. 27 players from Karachi United will have the honor to visit one of the most popular clubs in the world and witness their legendary style of play.

These players will be visiting Camp Nou as part of the Karachi United Youth Program. Players of the club will have the opportunity to get training from FCB coaches and play competitive matches against youth teams from the region.

Not just that, Karachi’s players will witness a magical moment as well. After all, they will get to watch none other than Lionel Messi play in front of the home crowd in Barcelona.

The First Visit

Players from KU visited FC Barcelona last year as well. They became the first ever club from Pakistan to do so. The team stayed there for a whole week and played around 15 matches at different levels.

The team visited the city of Barcelona as well. Towards the end of their visit, KU players and officials watched Barca vs Leganes match live at Camp Nou where Messi scored a last-minute penalty to take the game home 2-1.

Hopefully, this year’s tour will be as successful as the first one and prove handy in building the morale of youth ranks of United. The team will leave for Barcelona on 14th March and return after a week-long stay on 20th March.

Karachi United was founded back in 1996 with a vision to promote the game of football at the youth level.
