Sindh Govt to Spend Rs 210 Million on Beautification of Karachi for PSL Final

As the Pakistan Super League (PSL) final is fast approaching, Sindh government is working hard on finalizing arrangements for the mega event. The provincial government is willing to show that not only is Karachi peaceful, but it is a clean and beautiful city as well.

Chief Minister (CM) Sindh, Syed Murad Ali Shah, has approved Rs. 210 million for the beautification of the city. The approved amount will be utilized for security and beautification, during March 23 to March 26 – to cover Pakistan day to the day of PSL’s final match.

Murad Ali Shah has directed Karachi Municipal Corporation and Karachi administration, to make the city neat and clean and to make it attractive by focusing on lights and greenery.

“It should give an amazing and fabulous look to the city, This event is very important for the image of Karachi,” the CM said.


PSL Final’s Official Ticket Prices Raised by Upto 12 Times

For transport rehabilitation, restoration of parking areas and security arrangements the CM has approved Rs. 75 million. These funds will be utilized by DIG South, Commissioner Karachi.

The remaining amount of Rs. 135 million will be utilized for civic works, renting generators, horticulture, illumination and beautification of routes, and facilitating parking areas. These funds would be utilized by KMC with the approval of Mayor Karachi.
