Aamir Liaquat, the highly controversial TV anchor-cum-preacher-cum politician, is in hot waters – again. The self-professed religious scholar, who also hosts his own program at BOL TV, was recently banned by PEMRA for hurting religious sentiments.
That wasn’t the end of his troubles by any means. After PEMRA’s ban on Aamir Liaquat, the TV show host’s Facebook page, which had over 2.5 million followers, has been suspended.
The exact reason as to why the page was suspended hasn’t been made public yet. However, given his most recent controversy, many people reported his page for promoting hatred on religious grounds.
It is hard to pinpoint Aamir Liaquat’s exact area of expertise, especially when considering his past where he has served as a minister, a religious scholar, TV show host, and now as a politician again.
