The Expert Imaging and Sound Association (EISA) is a group which is comprised of 55 well-known consumers electronics magazines.
Just yesterday, EISA awarded a few smartphones in various categories. The most noteworthy of which is given to the Huawei P20 Pro.
EISA Best Smartphone 2018-2019
The Huawei P20 Pro ended up winning the best smartphone award thanks to its extraordinary hardware and excellent low light camera performance.
The EISA praised the P20 Pro’s glass finish its high-quality AMOLED screen that comes in at a resolution of 1080×2240 pixels and the 4,000mAh battery which lasts a whole day.
However, the best praise was given to the camera which includes a 40MP f/1.8 color sensor on the back combined with a black and white 20MP f/1.6 sensor and another 8MP sensor for 5X hybrid zoom.

EISA Consumer Smartphone
The best “Consumer Smartphone” award was given to the Nokia 7 Plus which is probably one of the best mid-range smartphones around, and for good reason. The 7 Plus packs some decent hardware and easily outperforms the competition.
Coming with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 and 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage, performance is no issue with the 7 Plus. Not to mention that running the latest Android 8.1 Oreo software also helps with the phone’s performance and being an Android One, it is also in line to get the update to Android 9.0 Pie.
The 6-inch display up front comes without a notch and the dual rear-facing cameras on the Nokia 7 Plus also perform well above the expectations.
EISA Lifestyle Smartphone
The Lifestyle Smartphone award was received by the Honor 10. The Honor 10 won it because of its stunning and head-turning design. The Honor 10 features an aluminum frame and glass back design which changes colors depending on what angle you are looking at it.
More importantly, the Honor 10 also probably comes with an AI camera, thanks to the NPU chip that the Honor 10 has on board.
The hardware that is responsible for taking great pictures consists of a dual camera setup on the back with a 16MP f/1.8 sensor and another 24MP black and white sensor. The HiSilicon Kirin 970 octa-core chipset on board also provides excellent performance for day to day usage.
