Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has clarified that Chairman Ehsan Mani does not have any Twitter account and all those with his pictures and pretending to be him are fake.
The cricket’s governing body is taking action against all such accounts.

One such account isĀ @EhsaanManiPCB whose bio says Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman while linking Mani’s Wikipedia page to the account. Interestingly,Ā fake Mani’sĀ location is stated to be Naya Pakistan.Ā That puts his claims of running an official account to rest, doesn’t it?
Earlier Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) had decided to take action against the fake accounts, informing the people that the First Lady Bushra Imran does not own any Twitter account and that the official accounts are only those listed on the official party website.
PTI has announced that they are making efforts to remove ambiguitiesĀ regarding fake social media accounts, saying that the important official accounts will be verified – with a blue verification mark against the name.
PCB needs to follow the same and the ChairmanĀ must have an official account where he can interact with the masses and inform about the policy decisions.
