The selected branches of National Bank of Pakistan and filed offices of State Bank of Pakistan’s (SBP) will remained open till 8:00 pm on Friday Nov 30 to facilitate the collection of taxes, duties and government receipts.
A press release said the authorised NBP branches as well as field offices of State Ban Banking Services Corporation shall observe extended banking hours upto 8:00 PM tomorrow.
The NBP branches will settle their transactions with respective SBP-BSC field offices on the same day i.e. November 30, 2018 for which a special clearing has been arranged at 5:30 PM by the NIFT.
All banks are, therefore, advised to keep their concerned branches open on November 30, 2018 till such time that is necessary to facilitate the special clearing for Government transactions.
