Pakistan Post to Speed Up Mail Delivery Times via Private Transport Services  

Pakistan Post has always facilitated communication links between individuals and businesses. The organization has recently taken great initiatives to meet the demands of the locals in every possible way.

During the past few years, Pakistan Post has continued to improve its services every way it can, be it for delivery on time, fast communication, cost-effective rates and reliability.

To ensure that it continues to make life easier for the people, Pakistan Post will now offer domestic mail delivery services via private transport services. The service is expected to connect the postal department with private transport services, with a goal to ensure timely delivery of mail from Rawalpindi to various other cities located in Punjab, Azad Jammu Kashmir (AJK) and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).

Media reports claim that the department of Postal services has already invited a couple of tenders from major local private transport companies to provide transportation service for mail delivery purposes.

Officials have mentioned that the companies will provide their transportation services to postal department early next year. After official approval, the department will start delivering mails through the help of private transport services from 14^th of January, 2019.
