These are the Most Environmentally Friendly Universities in Pakistan: Report

The UI GreenMetric World Universities rankings 2018 are out and many Pakistani universities made it to the list.

For those who don’t know, this ranking takes into account the campus setting, energy and climate change, infrastructure, water, waste, education, and transportation of the universities. In short, it measures universities worldwide based on their efforts to reduce their carbon footprint and help combat global climate change.

Most Environmentally Friendly Universities in Pakistan

GreenMetric has ranked the University of Agriculture, Faisalabad, Mehran University of Engineering and Technology, and the Pir Meher Ali Shah Arid University (PMASAAU) as the top three universities of the country, based on their efforts to go green.

As per the available details, the University of Agriculture, Faisalabad has been ranked as 241 in the global rankings while the Mehran University stands at 294. As for the Arid University, it ranks at 302.

Furthermore, the UAF secured a score of 54000 while the Mehran University scored 5050. The Arid University (PMASAAU) scored a total of 5000 foe UI GreenMetric World Universities ranking.
