Jazz has collaborated with Careem to launch a SIM Delivery Service in a bid to explore new channels for distribution.
Jazz has entered into an agreement with the ride-hailing service to directly deliver Jazz SIM cards to new users.
The duo will initially offer the service as a trial, starting with Islamabad.
This development was announced by the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) Jazz, Asif Aziz, in a Twitter post. It reads, “Moving to new channels and distribution. Agreement with Careem to deliver @jazzpk SIM cards. Trials to commence in Islamabad. #DunyaKoBataaDo #JazzSuper4G.”

This is a major development for Careem. It marks the advent of a whole new turf for Careem’s delivery services and its B2B operations.
Commenting on the importance of this partnership Shahzad Jamal, General Manager Islamabad said,
At Careem, we believe in simplifying lives via technology, the partnership with Jazz is one such example how businesses can work together and offer ease to customers at doorsteps.

Furthermore, word has it that Careem is looking to expand its e-wallet services. It intends to acquire the wallet license not only for managing credits but also for helping the customers with their utility bills and other payments. Reportedly, such a development is expected to materialize in the coming months.
It needs to be mentioned here that this is not the first time that Careem and Jazz have collaborated on something. Earlier, they joined hands to offer promotions and discounts to their customers.
