The government has announced plans to generate one million job opportunities through its ‘Kamyab Jawan Program’.
As per the details, the government is developing the said program in collaboration with the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority (SMEDA). The government intends to create jobs through the SME sector to promote the economic empowerment of the youth.
According to an official of the Youth Affairs Department, SMEDA will find the top business ventures in the local and international market under this program.
He said that the Prime Minister’s Youth Affairs department will provide support in the improvement of technical and vocational skills of youth.
Notably, Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Chaudhry Fawad Hussain, has also said that the government will introduce pro-people economic policies that will induce more employment opportunities.
