Mohammad Hafeez has ruled out of Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2019 for 2-4 weeks after picking up a hand injury during a game against Karachi Kings.
Lahore Qalandars did not announce the replacement straight away but after consultation with the management and the coach, Salman Butt has been announced as Hafeez’s replacement.
Salman Butt has been seeking a comeback ever since he was found guilty of spot-fixing back in 2010.
It is important to mention that Butt has showed good form following his comeback in the domestic cricket.
His National T20 Cup performances were praised heavily and there were rumors that he would even make his way back to the national side. He was the third-highest run getter in 2018’s National T20 Cup whereas ranked 3rd in 2016.

It is very unfortunate, Hafeez is out due to injury. It is part of game. Salman’s inclusion should be good omen for Qalanders. Now this is a big big opportunity which he should grab with both hands. It might pave way for his comeback in the national side. Good Luck Salami Butt

Bro there is a difference between M.Amir and Salman Butt. M. Amir admitted his mistake in start while Butt and Asif were constantly saying that they were innocent. When their punishment finished then they committed the mistake. For me Butt is more criminal as he was the captain of our national team.
