Just when we think Pakistan Super League (PSL) cannot get any better, Lahore Qalandars proves us wrong, every year. Whether they win or lose, they always win the hearts of cricket lovers throughout the country.
This time around, it’s an unprecedented move.
Lahore Qalandars’ captain, AB de Villiers will be seen on the streets of Lahore, participating in the Clean and Green campaign.
The announcement was made by Deputy Commissioner Lahore, Saleha Saeed, in a Twitter message. The modern legend will partake various activities during the Pakistani leg of the country’s premier T20 league.
An exciting news for all the Lahoris!
Upon the arrival of Lahore Qalandars in Lahore, AB DE Villiers will take part in our clean and green campaign.
We have many more exciting activities planned for our team.

The DC also announced several other ‘exciting activities’ for Lahore Qalandars. You can expect plenty of Qalandars fans joining their team for these activities. After all, you don’t often get to see the likes of AB de Villiers and other international stars on Lahori roads.
Lahore Qalandars will play two matches in Lahore on 9 and 10 March against Islamabad United and Multan Sultans respectively in the league stage.
