Last Day of PSL Group Stage: Here’s Why It’s Important for Teams to Win Today

Multan Sultans and Lahore Qalandars are playing their last match of the tournament. With both teams already knocked out of PSL 2019, the match has little significance.

Both teams will be playing for their pride and would want to finish the tournament with a win.

The losing team will gain an advantage though, as the bottom-placed team on the points table will have the first pick in PSL 2020 Draft.

Directly into the Qualifiers

The second match is scheduled between Karachi Kings and Peshawar Zalmi. Peshawar Zalmi is placed at the second spot currently and has a chance of finishing at the top of the table.

Karachi Kings, on the other hand, can still mathematically finish second and reserve a berth for the Qualifier.

If Karachi Kings manage to chase the target in 9 overs or win by a margin of approximately 85 runs, they can get a chance to directly compete for the final.

Dead rubbers? Not so much. There’s plenty to play for!
