We all love the colorful M&M’s, don’t we? The colorful chocolatey treats with nutty flavors are unique and tasty.
Well, a recent tweet by M&M’s UK said that these sweets are not Halal. Here’s what it said:
M&M’s are not suitable for a Halal diet. We use additives that come from animal products when we’re making M&M’s and traces of these can be found in the sweets.
Hi, thanks for getting in touch. M&M's are not suitable for a Halal diet. We use additives that come from animal products when we're making M&M's and traces of these can be found in the sweets. Kind regards

Additives from animal products are found in M&Ms. Not something you wanted to hear, is it? All our life, we’ve been eating haram? After reading the tweet, it seems like our whole childhood was a lie.
This tweet is being shared all over social media asking Muslims to stop eating M&Ms because it’s Haram.
The response prompted the M&M’s lovers to question whether the same is the case all over the world or not.
@mmschocolate Is this the same for US M&M's? As I used to live in Pakistan and they were halal there and I loved eating them, but now I have immigrated to the US and want to know if they are halal here.

And, finally, we saw something we all wanted to read so desperately.
We sell quality products all over the world & seek to meet our consumers’ needs in each market where we operate. In some countries, this includes certifying our products as Halal. Where we have Halal-certified products, this is indicated on the product packaging.

M&M’s Global cleared the air by telling its fans from across the globe that they sell Halal-certified products, depending on the market.
So, the lesson here is that always look for the Halal symbol on your M&M’s to avoid eating haram.
Like maybe some importer someday import haram M&M, people here are so smart that they won’t even notice it. It’s the responsibility of the state to look out for every eatables imported here are Haram or Halal. In fact alcohol and tobacco should also be banned immediately. Alcohol is clearly haram but smoking has many fatwa’s in which some countries consider it haram.
In Oman, Sheikh Al Khalili cited a verse from the Quran, “do not kill yourselves for God Almighty is most merciful to you,” to justify his ruling and considering Smoking as Haram in Oman.
M&M’s are not halal, Only skittles are
there, case closed by Sherlock.
Even in Pakistan we have made Mixing Halall into Har&&mm foods and then proceed for Human (Pakistani) we never asked that Chicken is halal after mixing dead animal steroids ?
