Earlier we reported that Bose Corporation, a reliable brand in the audio market has announced its departure from Pakistan, however, that’s not the case.
Bose isn’t pulling out from Pakistan and is in talks with another distributor in the country to continue its business. Here’s the official statement by Bose,
Bose is not shutting down it’s business in Pakistan. Our current distributor is making changes to how they support the Bose business there. They will continue to sell Bose Professional systems and service all of our products under warranty, but will no longer assort our consumer audio products. We’re actively pursuing a new distributor, and look forward to continuing to offer Bose products to customers of Pakistan.
In a Facebook post on Monday, Bose Pakistan (current distributor), said:
“With a heavy heart we have to announce that due to the prevailing conditions in the market which includes a high rate of duties and taxes, a depreciating rupee, an influx of non-duty paid goods, we are no longer in a position to import and sell Bose home audio products.”
The current distributor has announced a clearance sale for a limited stock at a cheaper rate.
The post has provided the contact numbers of its representatives Zeeshan Siddiqui and Nauman Khan.
