The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced contract extension with British sports psychologist Taimur Khan.
The contract has been extended till May 11, 2019, according to a source close to PCB.
Taimur Khan was initially hired for the series against Australia on trial basis. He was recommended to PCB by one of the coaches from the Pakistan team support staff.
A source close to PCB has claimed that Taimur will now work for six additional matches with the Pakistan cricket team.
PCB has extended Taimur’s contract keeping the upcoming World Cup in mind as well, as Pakistani players will require mental preparation for the mega-event as well.
Khan will travel with the Pakistan team to England where the national team will play three matches against county teams, two ODIs and one T20I against England.
Decision to further extend his contract till the World Cup will be announced on 11th May.
