A smaller and slightly downgraded version of Samsung A20 was unveiled at Samsung’s “A Galaxy event” in Milan, Italy and people are calling it “A20’s petite twin”. It was announced with 5 other handsets and has the smallest screen of the bunch.
Where some features coincide with the A20, many features are downgraded to fit the small casing and the lower price tag. Samsung seems to be going all in with releasing more budget-friendly smartphones.
Samsung Galaxy A20e comes with a small 5.8-inch TFT display. It features a resolution of 720 x 1560 pixels (HD+) which is similar to A20. The A20’s V-notch is still there on the upper edge, this gives it the infinity-V moniker. It is available in black and white colors.
The back has a sleek glossy design with a dual camera arranged vertically on the top left and a fingerprint sensor in the middle.
It is powered by Lassen P+ octa-core processor on an Exynos 7884 chipset. It features 3 GB RAM with 32 GB built-in memory that is expandable up to 512 GB with a memory card. It runs on Android 9.0 Pie and Samsung’s One UI.
Samsung Galaxy A20e comes with a dual-sensor rear camera and single sensor selfie camera. The rear camera features a 13 MP main sensor and a 5 MP ultrawide sensor, while the selfie camera has 8 MP imaging capacity.
Since A20e is A20s smaller version, it comes with a downgraded battery capacity of 3,000 mAh. We are not sure what the price will be, but it is expected to be between Rs. 25,000 and Rs. 27,000.
