Mohammad Hafeez Likely to be Ready for Fitness Test Ahead of World Cup

Former Pakistan cricket team captain, Mohammad Hafeez, has been given positive feedback regarding his injury, which he picked up during the fourth edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL).

Mohammad Hafeez is likely to be ready for the fitness test ahead of the ICC Cricket World Cup, which is to be hosted in England and Wales.

The 38-year-old underwent two surgeries and has been following a strict rehabilitation plan in order to recover from a thumb injury.

According to sources, his progress has been good and he will feature in the fitness test, which is scheduled for 15th and 16th April at the National Cricket Academy, Lahore.

Hafeez is regarded as a valuable member of Pakistan’s ODI team and he showcased his abilities in Champions Trophy 2017, where he played a pivotal part in the campaign.

The final squad for the World Cup 2019 will be announced on 18th April in Lahore.
