Following Prime Minister Imran Khan and Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi, now the President of Pakistan Arif Alvi has submitted gifts worth Rs. 40 million to the Toshakhana.
These presents were given to the president and his family during his visit to Saudi Arabia in December last year.
The gift set reportedly included a diamond-studded Rolex watch, gold-plated pen, gold rings, a pair of the gold plated cufflink, a necklace and tasbeeh (prayer beads).
PTI government has been setting high standards in politics –which has been a rare sight in the past. Be it the return of expensive gifts or submission of resignations owing to NAB inquiries; the incumbent government is an example for future governments.
is say pehlay kub howa hai kay kisi PM ya president nay Toshakhana mien gifts jama na kerwae houn???
almost every time. it’s time you get educated properly.
“The incumbent government is an example for future governments”.
Haai Haai
it is mandatory for every public office holder to submit any/all gifts received.
what they are doing has been done by all in the Past and nothing new.
Can you show any such example from NS or Zardari. I will be enlightened.
Good Indeed
For those who are saying that Nothing new should read the History of others.
What they have done. Also read about the Necles give by Turkish First Lady but PPP PM took it along with him at the time when he leaving PM house. Same stories you can also find for PMLN leader ship like they are using luxury car fleet given by Saudis….
