Breaking: Pakistan to Host Asia Cup Next Year

In a meeting held on Tuesday saw Pakistan succeed in getting the hosting rights for the Asia Cup 2020.

Pakistan will now host the Asia Cup matches, which will be in a T20I format, in September ahead of the World T20 tournament.

The decision was announced in a meeting of the ACC held in Singapore which included participants from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Afghanistan.

Pakistan was represented by the chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Ehsan Mani and Managing Director PCB Wasim Khan at the meeting.

Sources close to PCB claim that the board has requested the Sri Lankan board to send their security team to review the security arrangements.

In other news, the meeting also concluded that cricket will be included in 2022 Asian Games.
