Uber, the largest online ride-hailing service has once again raised its base fares for its customers in Pakistan.
The company announced revised fares for Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad in its official blog post on Monday (today).
The new pricing policy will come into effect immediately.
Uber believes the new fare policy is best for both consumers and the company to provide a “seamless experience and to and maintain the quality of trips.”

Seriously concerned about the senior management Mr. Dara KhusrowShahi plan leave Uber as his role was very important for announcement of Public Transport as Buses, coach, and other related public transport. In view of the severe pollution in Karachi by the deployment of car registration on roads which is creating a big risk. I shall be obliged if he can give a policy statement from Uber for public transport, clean air initiative from WHO/UN for extreme pollution in Karachi, and operation of Buses as promised in the blog in PP recently. I wish and suggest he should stay and visit Karachi to see for the Road Safety issue from WHO/UN Road Safety for Road injuries, death accidents can only be stopped when Uber takes Capacity Building for buses, taxis, coaches, trams, bicycle tracks, e-bicycle in Karachi.
