Police in Pakistan is often regarded as unfit, in part due to the lack of fitness facilities and also because of their own laziness.
The lack of fitness in the police departments in Pakistan is often a concern for the higher authorities. To counter that, the Central Police Office in Karachi has opened an indoor gym for its officers to stay fit.

Equipped with all the necessary exercise equipment and machinery, the gym promises to keep the officers in good shape. From treadmills to twisters, cycles and other fitness equipment, the gym has it all and the officers can exercise within their office to keep themselves fit.
It remains to be seen whether exercising is made mandatory for the staff or not. However, the installation of a fitness facility for the police is a step in the right direction.
