The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced separate red-ball and white-ball training camps at the National Cricket Academy (NCA), with 49 players set to take part in preparations for upcoming international and domestic assignments.
The red-ball camp will include 22 players and will run from June 8 to July 10. The white-ball camp will feature 27 players and will be held from June 15 to September 18.
According to the PCB, players who were part of Pakistan’s recently concluded One-Day International series against Australia and have also been selected for the red-ball camp will join the training program from June 15.
The PCB said the camps are aimed at helping players prepare for future international commitments and domestic competitions. Players will work on their technical skills and fitness under the supervision of national and NCA coaching staff, with support from PCB medical personnel.
The board also said players will take part in one-on-one sessions with coaches to improve their understanding of the technical and physical demands of international cricket.
Notable players selected for the red-ball camp include Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, Shan Masood, Saud Shakeel, Salman Ali Agha, Imam-ul-Haq, Abrar Ahmed and Mohammad Abbas.

The white-ball camp squad includes Fakhar Zaman, Saim Ayub, Shadab Khan, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Naseem Shah, Sahibzada Farhan, Haider Ali and Usman Khan.

The PCB added that the NCA recently conducted separate red-ball and white-ball camps ahead of Pakistan’s tour of Bangladesh and the ODI series against Australia, respectively.
