The fifth edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL) is expected to start from 22nd February 2020.
As reported previously, and unlike the previous editions, the entire tournament is expected to be held in Pakistan.
Lahore, Rawalpindi, Multan and Karachi have been identified as four venues for the tournament. The Lahore stadium is expected to host 11 matches whereas Rawalpindi could host 8 and Multan 4 matches.
In addition, Peshawar and Azad Kashmir are also in consideration to host a few matches but the board wants to include them as PSL’s sixth edition venues instead.
A source close to the board claims that all the franchise owners and members have already been notified about PSL’s entire season being held in Pakistan.
The draft for the fifth edition of the domestic league is currently being prepared and will be held in mid-November.
The foreign players will be requested to make a decision on whether they want to be a part of PSL considering that it’s being held entirely in Pakistan.
