Kids No Longer Have to Take Entry Tests for Admission in Schools: Shehzad Roy

Famous musician and philanthropist, Shehzad Roy, has said that soon children will no longer have to undertake entry tests to secure admissions in schools.

Roy took to Twitter to inform his followers that kids seeking admission in nursery class would not be required to give an entry test. The decision will apply to all the private schools.

“As member of the regulatory body on private schools, I am proud to share that soon the trauma faced by kids and parents for admissions to nursery class would be over. A kid of that age should not be required to face any admission test. This will be binding for all top private schools too,” he stated.

Roy has been working for education reforms for several years. He has been striving to improve the quality of education through advocacy and training. He is also running a non-governmental organization (NGO), Zindagi Trust, that aims to provide education to underprivileged children of Pakistan.
