Punjab government’s Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department has issued a new list of rates for services and tests being offered at all its facilities. There has been a slight increase in the fees.
The new rates have come into effect at all Rural Health Centers (RHCs), Tehsil Headquarters Hospitals (YHQs) and District Headquarters Hospitals (DHQs), barring DHQ Rawalpindi, following approval from Punjab Cabinet under Rule 28 (15) and 30 of the Punjab government Rules of Business 2011.
According to the details, the poor patients entitled to Zakat Fund will be served free of cost while emergency patients will also undergo diagnostic tests without any charges, The News reported.
Here are the revised rates for different services and tests offered at different healthcare facilities in Punjab:

“70 percent of diagnostic test fee shall be retained by the government of Punjab”, the notification further read.
