Gala Celebrates Pakistan’s Independence Day With A Patriotic Anthem

Independence Day in Pakistan is a special event. It brings back memories of the sacrifices made by our forefathers and the struggles of the founder of Pakistan, Quaid-i-Azam and his team.

Every year, Independence Day is celebrated with great zeal and zest throughout the country. Flags are hoisted at rooftops of government buildings, shops, and homes alike. Kids love to wander around in green and white-colored shirts imprinted with a crescent and star. Festivities begin as soon as August starts and everyone prepares themselves for the big day on the 14th of August.

The patriotism of Pakistanis is second to none. The white in our flag is reflective of how Jinnah envisioned a Pakistan for all. From Muslims to Hindus, Christians to Sikhs and all other minorities, everyone loves their country more than their own self. We are a proud nation and Gala’s Independence Day celebrations served as an icing on the cake.

The rendition of Gala’s anthem has weaved the idea of togetherness and inclusivity, highlighting the diversity in Pakistan. Gala, or better yet, des ka biscuit, has been there for generations and is surely never short on maintaining its original quality and taste till date and continues to show des kay rung in the most vibrant manner ever.

This new rendition of the Gala anthem is surely going to ignite the spark in you and make you want to direct this energy into doing something for our country.

Amid all the tensions regarding Pakistan-India clash over Kashmir issue, it served as a refresher, as Gala offered a vivacious representation of our homeland. So much love, positivity, and message of cultural diversity and inter-cultural harmony has been projected through the visuals.

The anthem, sung by none other than the legendary Shafqat Amanat Ali, blew us away with his magical voice and the patriotic words are going to leave a long-lasting impact on our hearts.

Others such as Akhtar Chinal, Humaira Arshad, Lucky & Naghma, Tufail Sanjrani, and Zeek Afridi; all played their part in the anthem, literally giving us goosebumps.

The singers from different provinces were a testament to the fact that we Pakistanis stand as one, no matter the circumstances. On top of it, two members of the underprivileged transgender community also took the stage to warm our hearts with lovely vocals, defying all societal standings and embracing inclusivity and practicing it.

Gala by LU has preserved its taste since our childhood days and it provides a great combination of freshness and flavor.

The new song will definitely make you fall in love with Pakistan again and it is surely going to ignite the spark in you and make you want to direct this energy into doing something for the country.
